
LE SSERAFIM Online Shop
Part 1 - Logo Illustration

Le Sserafim is a South Korean girl group formed under HYBE and Source Music in May 2, 2022. The group consists of five members: Sakura, Kazuha, Yun Jin, Chae Won, Eun Chae.
The group name, Le Sserafim, is known to be an anagram of the phrase, "I'm Fearless", which also became the group's debut album concept. The word, Sserafim, also came from the term, Seraphim, which is known in Christianity angelology to be a 6-winged heavenly being.
Le Sserafim is known in the industry for their powerful and strong performances, while also displaying their elegance throughout their discography. As of the research period of this project, they released a total of 3 albums: FEARLESS, ANTIFRAGILE, and UNFORGIVEN.
Challenge Faced - Logo Creation
During this project, it was my first time creating a full-on logo, and my first time using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Hence, the whole process of creating a logo, starting from the research process, to sketching, to digitalization and finalization, was especially unfamiliar. However, I managed to pick up pace slowly after learning and researching more about the process steps, and was able to proceed on with the application creation smoothly after.

After creating 20+ logo sketches, I then chose 3 logos to focus on forward.



Digitalization
The above chosen logos are then digitalized and polished.

Through further consideration, it was decided that the final logo would be developed using the 1st out of the 3 logos.
FINAL LOGO - End of Part 1

The 3D metallic chrome effect gives the logo a tough and strong look while keeping the elegance and beauty of the three pairs of wings in reference to represent a "Seraphim".
Similarly, the serif font, Erva Esra, was chosen to depict the same strong yet elegant image of the logo.
Part 2 - Application Conceptualization
With the incorporation of the new revamped logo, I then began the conceptualization of an application relevant to the brand, LE SSERAFIM OFFICIAL SHOP.
Design Summary
To match with the K-pop Girl Group, LE SSERAFIM's bold yet elegant concept, the design of the LE SSERAFIM OFFICIAL SHOP was conceptualized to maintain the girl group's concept. A more professional and mature, yet simple design was also ensured in order to maintain readability for users of all ages and levels of digital familiarity.
Target Audience
The LE SSERAFIM OFFICIAL SHOP was designed in a way that aims to target an audience who are already familiar with the girl group. It aims to allow people arriving at the application to feel a sense of familiarity with the group's official merchandise shop.

Le Sserafim is a South Korean girl group formed under HYBE and Source Music in May 2, 2022. This project includes the research and illustration process of a redesigned logo for Le Sserafim, and the creation of a mobile application relevant to the client (Le Sserafim).
